The alpine meadows of the High Sierra are encircled by crowns of glacier carved domes, peaks and spires. An impressive network of trails weaves seamlessly through the high passes, topaz lakes, and cascading rivers. This inspiring landscape is a perfect playground for runners, and we’ve unlocked the zone with the Tuolumne Meadows itinerary.

THIS TRIP IS A GREAT FIT FOR RUNNERS EXCITED FOR MULTIPLE DAYS OF HIGH MILEAGE AND BIG ELEVATION GAIN IN RUGGED TERRAIN.
ASPIRE OPERATES SHUTTLES TO EACH RUN’S TRAILHEAD, THEN MEETS RUNNERS AT THE FINISH WITH A VIBRANT APRÉS- RUN SCENE AND SHUTTLE BACK TO BASECAMP.

A journey into the High Sierra awaits.
Here’s how Aspire unlocks the Yosemite high country:

Aspire coordinates all camping reservations, backcountry permits, shuttles and meals to guarantee you an immersive trail running experience. All you have to bring is your running kit and your fitness.

Accommodations: Our glamp-style basecamp is at the lofty Tioga Pass campgrounds. Runners can opt to pack their own camping gear, or rent a full kit from us.

Meals: We get it! Nutritious food fuels your adventure. We put care and whole foods into all our meals. Aspire bookends each day with celebratory breakfasts & dinners and provides nutritious options for fuel on trail as well. We’re happy to accommodate your dietary needs!

Shuttles: Runners can take public transit from Mammoth, CA or Reno, NV to Lee Vining, CA, where we’ll pick you up. During the trip, shuttles are a critical component of theYosemite: Tuolumne Meadows adventure, making these exceptional point to point routes possible.

Guide Team: The Aspire team is comprised of welcoming expert guides that provide a safety net, energizing camaraderie, area information, logistical support and meals.

SAMPLE RUN DAY ITINERARY

5:00 AM Coffee & Breakfast: French Toast
6:00 AM Shuttles Depart for the John Muir Trail
7:00 AM Runners depart for 24 miles  over Cathedral Pass, then up the spectacular Cloud’s Rest, before descending to Tenaya Lake for an afternoon relaxing by the lake. Avg run time: 7hrs
4:00 PM Runner’s shuttle back to camp at Tioga Pass. The Aspire aprés- scene unfolds: appetizers, beverages, and conversation leading into a fresh and delicious meal.
